Does Patriot Payroll report W-2 code TT?

Short answer: Partly. Patriot works out the half-time premium and puts it in box 12 code TT, but only from the FLSA overtime hours you designate each payroll; it does not decide which hours qualify.

Calculates code TT itselfPartly
What it usesAfter overtime is entered, the FLSA Overtime Designation step (Step 1A) asks for each nonexempt employee's FLSA overtime hours over 40 in the workweek. Patriot Time & Attendance prefills them; Auto-Fill All copies all paid overtime hours. Custom overtime hour types count only when set to "Use as FLSA OT".
Check the amountPatriot back-fills code TT on the 2026 W-2 when a custom hour type is switched to qualified overtime later in the year, without rerunning payrolls. Its FAQ example ($20 regular rate, 5 overtime hours: $50 in code TT) is a quick sanity check.

What to watch

Check the number before the W-2 goes out
Export hours and earnings per workweek and run them through the free code TT calculator. It rebuilds the FLSA premium week by week (several rates, bonuses spread back, fluctuating workweek, weeks split by pay date) and runs in your browser. Big gaps usually come from bonuses, double time or state daily overtime.
Whole payroll, offline? The W-2 Code TT Kit runs every employee in one file with no network access, plus CSV templates, the week-by-week audit trail and a 12-page guide to every rule.
